Smart Pressure Reducing Valves

Added Pilot Operated Pressure Reducing Valves, which can be accessed from the Tools menu > Fittings > Pressure Regulating > Smart Pressure Reducing Valve. To learn more about this feature, visit our Smart Pressure Reducing Valve page.

Navisworks Export (.nwc)

Users are able to export an Autodesk Navisworks Cache file (.nwc) from AutoSPRINK to Navisworks via File > Export > NWC File. Exported Navisworks Cache files (.nwc) can then be appended to a Navisworks model file (.nwd) for coordination.

Protractor Snap

Implemented a new feature called the Protractor Snap. This feature allows users to snap a pipe along user-defined increments and appears similar to a protractor. Note that the command will appear when the drawing is in Isometric View, but it will only snap along the XY axis.

The Protractor Snap Properties Dialog can be accessed by holding the Shift key while selecting the Snap option. From here, users can adjust the angle increments of this command.

Design Pane Updates

Quality-of-life updates have been implemented to the Design Pane, such as:

• The Save Settings File, Expand All and Collapse All, and Move Groups buttons have been added to the top of the Design Pane.
• A right-click menu that allows users to create and delete groups and items has been implemented. The options available vary depending on what is selected when pulling up the menu.
• Users are now able to delete groups even when it contains items.
• Users can double-click a field to edit it.

Additional Updates

Additional quality-of-life updates have been implemented, such as:

• Added the ability to import PDFs into the AutoSPRINK model via File > Import > PDF.
• Users are now able to export a .csv of the items directly in the Parts List dialog.
• Water Supply flow states are now toggleable.
• Users are now able to override and manually set C-Factors in Fabrication Standards > Set Fluid Properties.
• The Air Vent Valve subcategory has been implemented to the program.
• Groove-o-Let take-outs now visually change the outlet when they are modified from the outlet Properties page.
• Manually placed Flex Drops can now harmonize just as automatically placed ones do.
• The Cloud tool can now have Note tags added to it.
• Added the ability for designers to apply an equivalent length adjustment for pipe diameters without needing to also apply it to C-values.
• The RVtoAS Import now consolidates outlets of the same type.
• Added a new Valve Trim subcategory to Trim parts.
• Added Hanger Description to the Auto-Hanger and Hanger Assembly Tool dialogs.
• Added the option for Commodity Classification to be displayed on the Remote Area Table.
